We Still Got The Love (We Started With)

LISTEN:
RealAudio 28k - MP3

Waking up beside you, I tremble when we touch
you give me deja vu, love with you's a rush
you're taking me back to long ago, when you whispered forever to my hungry soul

Chorus:
We've still got the love we started with,
I still get a buzz every time we kiss
my frozen tears all melt away,
when you warm me up with your microwave I know true love is not a myth
'cause we still got the love we started with

When love treats me wrong, and backs me to the wall
you always come along, I don't even have to call
I start to feelin' better, my condition's fine
I get that first time feelin' for the millionth time

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Now some will tell you that love won't last
if you burn it up too fast
but you and I still feel the same
so we must have an eternal flame

Repeat Chorus

Who Do You Know In Heaven
(©2000 Gene Carrington/Louie Cate)
LISTEN:
RealAudio 28k - MP3

His thin grey hair was blowing, in a wispy halo dance
He looked almost holy, huddled in a trance
As I came nearer to him, he turned his eyes on me
His shaking hand was cold, when I felt it tuggin' on my sleeve

Chorus:
He ask me,
"Who do you know in heaven, I want to go home?
"Do you have a friend, in the great unknown,"
"That could ask for my prayers --- to be heard?"
"Who do you know in heaven, to help me get in, Someone to meet me, at my journeys end?"
"Tell me who, who do you know in heaven?"

His voice came as a whisper, raspy dry and weak
"Son," he croaked, and pulled me close, so I could hear him speak
"I'm all alone, the end is near, I'm broken and I'm old."
"Help me son, to find someone, to save my sinful soul."

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
I searched my mind for an answer, one last ray of hope
A light came on in the darkness, I said "God will welcome you home."
