I grew up in a large musically oriented family and developed a love for country music, surrounded by cowboys, ranchers and farmers. I attended school in both Urban America and small town environment. I have been influenced by the great songwriting of Hank Williams, Hank Cochran, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and (Whispering) Bill Anderson to name a few. I love the great Traditional Artists and some of the current performers. I think cross-over from pop to country and from country to pop works, but some of the rock to country worries the traditional bones in my body.
I seek honesty and originality in all my lyrics and try to make them believable. I draw from life experiences and observing real people, actually living life and reacting to change.
I have been fortunate enough to have great co-writers:
Hank Cochran - Louie Cate - Eddie Ray - Wendell Carr - Susie Marshall
Thor Whitworth - Al Dunn - Noah Count - Pharon Shilo
I love to write, and write constantly. I have competed in every national and international song competition that I can find to enter, and have been fortunate to win consistently. I have been published by several "indie" publishers and have several cuts. I'm looking to get a major cut anytime.
I have also written poetry and have had many of my efforts published.
I have Registered Angus Cattle and enjoy producing seed stock and exhibiting at major exhibitions.
Arrows & Bullets Music, Inc. is a family owned corporation founded for the purpose of promoting and marketing the songs and original material for me and my co-writers.
